Twice Vaccine Injection, West Nusa Tenggara Deputy Governor Was Exposed To COVID-19

MATARAM - Deputy Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Sitti Rohmi Djalilah was exposed to COVID-19. Sitti has received vaccinations twice.

"Yes, it is true, the Deputy Governor is positive for COVID-19," said the Head of the West Nusa Tenggara Province Health Office, Dr. Lalu Hamzi Fikri, Sunday, March 14.

Hamzi said that the husband of the Deputy Governor of West Nusa Tenggara, Khairul Rizal, along with seven other people living in the pavilion also tested positive for COVID-19. But everything is stated in good condition.

"The Deputy Governor and his family are in good condition at this time and their status is asymptomatic (OTG). Currently undergoing independent isolation and supervision of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Hospital team of doctors," continued Hamzi.

Previously the West Nusa Tenggara Deputy Governor received the vaccine on January 14. Then the second vaccination on January 28, 2021.

Separately, the husband of West Nusa Tenggara Deputy Governor, H. Khairul Rizal, confirmed that he and his family were positively exposed to COVID-19.

"Alhamdulillah, although it is positive, the condition is good, there are no symptoms, maybe the effect of the COVID-19 vaccine is already working," said this member of the Regional House Of Representative of West Nusa Tenggara Province.

His party suspects that the virus entered after one of the assistants who worked daily in the pavilion returned to his hometown and returned with COVID-19.

"Auntie who worked in the pavilion had returned to her hometown, brought COVID-19 in return. This aunt suddenly lost her smell, immediately took a swab, and was positive. Then the rest of us were swab tested and positive," he said.
