TP3 Meets Jokowi, Pushes The FPI Militia Case To The Human Rights Court And Transparency
JAKARTA - The Murder Incident Guard Team (TP3) of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) unveiled the results of the meeting with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Jokowi conveyed two main points.
TP3 visited the State Palace accompanied by Amien Rais to discuss the deaths of six followers of former FPI frontman Muhammad Rizieq Shihab, on March 9.
The head of TP3's six troops of FPI Abdullah Hehamahua said that his party asked the government to bring the tragedy of 7 December 2020 to a human rights court instead of an ordinary court.
TP3 encouraged the case to be investigated by the International Criminal Court (ICC). This is because the deaths of six FPI militias were categorized as serious human rights violations.
The next point is asking for transparency in the disclosure of the tragedy that killed six FPI militias. Abdullah admitted that Jokowi responded well to the request. He said, the Head of State promised to ensure that the cases of the deaths of the 6 FPI troops were handled properly.
"The President answered two points. It means that the government will implement it openly, fairly, and if it is TP3, please convey it," he said in a discussion entitled 'Revealed! Amien Rais intention to meet Jokowi on FPI!', On Sunday, March 14.

Abdullah said, TP3 still thinks the tragedy of 7 December 2020 contains elements of serious human rights violations. In fact, Abdullah claims to be compiling evidence that supports this assumption.
"God willing, we have the data there and now we are compiling it in the form of a 2-volume white book. Because the thick we made it into 2 volumes. The first volume is a summary and volume 2 is data," he said.
Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) welcomed Amien Rais' visit with the TP3 team of six FPI militias at the State Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday last week. In this meeting, Jokowi was accompanied by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD to meet Amien Rais and others.
