The Motorcycle Of A Missing Journalist Was Taken Away By A Thief During The Day
JAKARTA - The theft of motorbikes during the day has occurred again in the Medan Satria area, West Bekasi. This time the victim is an online media journalist, a resident of Pejuang Jaya, Pioneer 4 who works in Jakarta.
A black Honda Beat Street motorcycle with his 4550 KDD number B disappeared by a gang of thieves on Monday, June 3, during the day.
From witness testimony, the motorbike used to pick up school children was taken by the thief at around 12.10 WIB. The 110cc motorbike was parked in the garage of the house with the fence closed and locked at the handlebar.
The victim, Mama Westi (39) said that at the time of the incident she was not at home but her mother was there. He believes his motorbike is locked and safe.
"I used between school children at 7.30 WIB, then after that I was immediately put in the garage (in the fence of the house). Then at 8.30 WIB I went to work with my husband," explained Mama Westi at her residence, Pejuang Jaya, Perintis IV, Medan Satria, West Bekasi, Tuesday, June 4.
His Honda Beat motorbike was discovered missing when a neighbor saw the fence of his house was wide open. The victim's mother who was on the second floor then checked the condition of the garage.
"At 12 o'clock after the midday prayer a neighbor told my mother, he said the gate was open. Now my mother came down to close the fence, my mother was surprised why the motorbike that used to park in the garage wasn't there," explained Mama Westi.

The victim's mother, who is already elderly, admitted that she was confused because her daughter's Honda Beat motorcycle key was still on the table, in a normal place.
"I'm working on the phone with my mother, she asked'DID someone take her motorbike to the workshop, because it wasn't there?' I said no one brought it," added Mama Westi.
The incident shocked Mama Westi and her family. The reason is, her favorite motorbike was stolen during the day, when there were still some residents who performed dzuhur prayers to the Al Huda mosque, not far from the victim's house.
It seems that the thief has also mastered the situation and situation. Some neighbors who are wara-wiri in housing also feel cheated and upset because they do not know the theft.
CCTV was also installed at the victim's house, but unfortunately it was unable to operate due to technical problems.
Mama Westi accompanied by her husband visited the Medan Satria Police on Monday (3/6) afternoon to report the incident. The report was received with the number STLP/31/K/VI/2024/Sek.MS. He told the chronology and submitted the key and certificate of ownership of the vehicle as evidence.
Previously, based on information from residents, within a year the theft of motorbikes also occurred in the Pejuang Jaya area, which is still in the same area as Mama Westi. At that time the motorbike that was missing was a Yamaha RX King collection vehicle.
