AMD Launches AI Ryzen 300 Processor For PC Copilot Plus
JAKARTA AMD, a semiconductor company from California, launched the latest processor at the Computex 2024 event. The processor is Ryzen AI 300 which is claimed to use the strongest Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Ryzen AI 300 is designed for PC Copilot Plus or an Artificial Intelligence-based computer (AI). Built on the latest XDNA 2 architecture, the NPU of Ryzen AI 300 presents machines that work three times faster than the second generation Ryzen AI. AMD explains that these processors use a Zen 5 architecture equipped with 12 CPU cores. The performance of this architecture is very high because, "24 threads and memory cache L3 on-chip 50 percent more than Zen 4 processors." With these various components, AMD believes that Ryzen AI 300 is a state-of-the-art processor for AI-based computers. In addition, this processor is capable of running a wide variety of activities, both related to work and entertainment. "With advanced AI architectures and supercharged performance for elite gaming and productivity, third generation AI Ryzen Series enables private, responsive, and intelligent laptop computing," AMD said in its official broadcast. There are several key features that AMD highlighted in its built Ryzen AI 300 processor. Equipped with the AMD Radeon series 800M graphic architecture, these processors are able to run some of the following features:
