Reviewing The South Sumatra Rupit Hospital, Jokowi Finds Electrical Problems Immediately Call The President Director Of PLN
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo inspects the Rupit Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province (Sumsel), Thursday 30 May.During the visit, President Jokowi checked the adequacy of human resources and medical equipment at the hospital, thus emphasizing the importance of increasing electricity infrastructure."I am happy to enter the Musi Rawas Utara Regional Hospital because human resources, doctors, specialists are good, complete," said President Jokowi in his statement, Thursday, May 30.President Jokowi also said that medical equipment from the Ministry of Health had entered the hospital. These tools include operating equipment to CT scans.However, the Head of State also highlighted the important problem faced by this hospital, namely inadequate electricity supply. Overcoming the issue, the President immediately called the President Director (Managing Director) of PLN."Only the problem here is that electricity is less than PLN, so I immediately called the President Director of PLN to resolve it as quickly as possible," said President Jokowi.
The President also emphasized that the problem of electricity is not only in hospitals, but also affecting the entire North Musi Rawas Regency.According to information, this review is part of the government's efforts to ensure that health facilities in Indonesia have adequate infrastructure support, especially in more remote areas.Also accompanying President Jokowi during the visit were Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono, Head of the National Food Agency Arief Prasetyo Adi, Acting Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni, and Regent of North Musi Rawas Devi Suhartoni.
