The NMIXX Agency Turns Out To Participate In Planned Dead Music Incidents At The Festival

JAKARTA - NMIXX went viral after their recent appearance at the Shinhan University Festival. In the midst of their performance, their backtrack music was stopped but they continued their performance.

Fans and the public praised NMIXX for its professionalism and thought they could still appear without a backtrack. On the other hand, the public also questioned the professionalism of the university that held the event.

Then, the university released a note that they stated that the backtrack music on the NMIXX stage had been planned before their performance.

"The backtrack function for NMIXX on the first day was a deliberate appearance and we were notified before appearance," the university said.

One of the members of NMIXX, Bae said that they were surprised when their music stopped, but they continued to sing.

Then, SQU4D, the division that manages NMIXX by JYP Entertainment, made their statement. They confirmed that the backtrack was intentional.

Hello, this is SQU4D. To heat up the atmosphere of appearance, we agreed with the university to arrange a malfunction as part of the event," the division said.

"To make it natural, we didn't tell NMIXX members about this. We apologize for making it uncomfortable with fans," he said.

They also apologized and promised that something like this would not happen in the future. The division also appreciates the support of the public and fans.
