Latest Leaks: Samsung Increases Camera Sensors On Galaxy S25 Ultra

JAKARTA Samsung will present a major improvement in their latest flagship phones. The company will develop the Galaxy S25 camera and include a better secondary sensor. This is good news because Ultra series have not undergone many changes from year to year, especially in the camera. Samsung has always highlighted the main camera resolution, but telephoto and ultra-wide lenses are always left behind. When viewed from previous generations, the Galaxy S24 Ultra uses a 200MP main camera and 50MP telephoto with a maximum of 5 zooms. Meanwhile, other telephotos are only 10MP with 3 times zoom and ultra-wide with 12MP sensors. The Galaxy S23 has the same resolution as its latest generation. However, both telephoto cameras only use 10MP sensors. These sensors are indeed very small and seem to be eliminated in the latest S-class Galaxy series.

The Ice Universe account on Weibo, citing from 9to5google, says that the Galaxy S25 Ultra's main camera will have the same sensor as previous generations. However, telephoto and ultra-wide cameras will be upgraded to 50MP. With a much larger resolution, the phone's camera in this flagship class will not have any shortcomings. Keep in mind that these rumors may experience future changes as Samsung has never confirmed its leak. The Galaxy S series is usually launched early in the year, namely in January. To get more valid information regarding the Galaxy S25 series, we still have to wait a few more months until its phone is released.
