President Barack Obama Inaugurates Museum Of Tragedy 11 September In Today's Memory, 15 May 2014

JAKARTA - Today's memory, 10 years ago, May 15, 2014, the President of the United States (US), Barack Obama inaugurated the 9/11 Commemoration Museum or September 11 Tragedy. The museum is considered a place of healing and hope. Obama wants the next US generation not to forget the events of September 11, 2001 (9/11).

Previously, the 9/11 Incident was considered the largest terrorist attack in US history. Two terroristly hijacked planes hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York on September 11, 2001. The attack resulted in casualties.

The 9/11 incident brought deep sorrow to all Americans, then the world. The grief came after two planes hijacked by terrorists hit the towers of the twin WTC. The crash was carefully planned.

Terrorists seem to understand that the two buildings are seen as symbols of US empowerment. Empowerment in terms of economy, politics, and the military. Those inside and outside the building are victims.

Two hours later, the two buildings collapsed instantly. The destruction of the two buildings made the whole city of New York tense. The attack is believed to be the largest and worst terrorist attack in US history. Condolences also emerged from various parts of the world.

Problems arise. Instead of just feeling of condolences, the terrorist network, Al-Qaeda actually claimed responsibility behind the attack. The presence of Al-Qaeda claims is getting worse. Panic appears everywhere.

The always touted image of the US can keep its citizens collapsing. Moreover, there were not a few victims who fell due to the 9/11 Incident. This condition made the US angry. They began to invite many countries to fight terrorism.

If the resistance is not carried out, then acts of terrorism will run rampant. The US wants the world not to forget the 9/11 Event.

A Boeing 767 plane crashed into the 80th level of the tower north of the World Trade Center tower tower tower tower towering into the sky. Eight minutes later, another plane rammed into the south tower. The Twin Tower finally collapsed.

"Thousands of people who died that morning. What I never imagined was a big event in the afternoons of New York being shocked, confused, anxious. Subway stopped completely, as well as city buses, as well as taxis. All of my people walked from one part of the city to another. As if in the mass excitement, they were looking for friends with each other, "said Goenawan Mohamad in his writing in Tempo magazine entitled Bratas (2021).

The US desire so that the world should not forget the 9/11 Incident was taken seriously. Barack Obama's government even prepared the 9/11 Commemoration Museum in New York, USA. The museum's aka was built at the former 9/11 scene. The museum will later play a recording of the reading of the names of 2,983 men, women, and children who died in the 9/11 Incident.

Ulam's beloved pinnacle arrives. The museum also summarized. President Barack Obama also inaugurated the 9/11 Commemoration Museum on May 15, 2014. Obama wants the museum to be a place of recovery and hope for the US to be better.

Here, at this memorial, in this museum, we gather together. We stand in the footsteps of two major towers, enlivened by the swiftness of the eternal water. We see faces of nearly 3,000 innocent souls -- men and women as well as children of every race, every belief, and every corner of the world.

"We can touch their names and hear their voices and glimpse small things that express the beauty of their lives. Wedding rings. dusty helmets. Shining badges," Obama said as quoted by the obamawhitehouse.gov page, 15 May 2014.
