The Number Of DHF Cases In South Tangerang Alami Improved, Highest Weighted 2023
SOUTH TANGERANG - Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) cases in South Tangerang (Tangsel) have increased compared to the previous year. So far, there are 461 dengue patients from January-May 2024. Meanwhile, in 2023 there were only 430 dengue patients.
"January to May 11, 2024, there are 461 cases. Meanwhile, the number of dengue cases in 2023 is 420 cases," said Head of the South Tangerang City Health Service (Kadinkes), doctor Allin Hendalin Mahdaniar in his statement, Monday, May 13.
Allin ensured that the dengue cases that occurred in his area did not die.
"There are no cases of dengue fever that died from 2023-2024," he said.
Allin detailed that the most dengue cases in his area occurred in March this year, with a total of 167 cases. The second highest number was in February with a total of 132 cases.

Therefore, to prevent dengue cases, continued Allin, the South Tangerang City Government will spray fogging in areas prone to dengue cases.
