According to BMKG forecaster Rif'at Darajat, the weather conditions of big cities in Indonesia are influenced by the presence of three cyclonic circulations and the seeds of tropical cyclone 91P.
"Three cyclonic circulations in the waters north of West Kalimantan, then the Pacific Ocean north of Papua and the Banda Sea," he said.
Rift'at said that these conditions could increase the potential for rain cloud growth around cyclonic circulation areas.
Tropical cyclone seed 91P around the Arafuru Sea has a low chance of becoming a cyclone, resulting in the potential for moderate to heavy rain and strong winds around the cyclone seed area.
