Alleged Missing Customer Money In BTN: Attorney Calls The Investigation Process Running At Polda Metro Jaya

JAKARTA - The report against the President Director of BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu and two other BTN officials, Ari Sadewo and Chandra M Hamzah, to the Polda Metro Jaya, has so far entered the investigation stage. This was confirmed by the attorney for BTN customers, Gregorius Upi.

"It's been an investigation process. However, we haven't received any information from the Police whether they have been summoned or not," said BTN customer attorney Gregorius Upi when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, May 8.

Please note, the report was made 1 year ago on May 10, 2023.

"The police are still conducting investigations, including asking for information from related parties in connection with the Police Report that has been made," he said.

Although the report continues at Polda Metro Jaya, Gregorius stated that his party is ready to conduct deliberations with BTN.

"We are ready to be invited to discuss. We also hope that the legal process will run well, but that does not mean we are closing the door to deliberation in order to produce the best solution for (customers) parties," he said.

Meanwhile, the attorney for Bank BTN, Rony Hutajulu, responded to the statement of the attorney for BTN customers regarding the report at Polda Metro Jaya.

According to Rony, in principle Bank BTN respects the right of the public to report Bank BTN to law enforcers.

"Regarding the crime that is currently being reported as LP No. 2513, it is actually the BTN bank that took the first initiative to report the criminal incident to Polda Metro investigators. The BTN Bank report has made Ari Sadewo and his wife, Selly as suspects," said Rony when confirmed by VOI.

Unfortunately, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes (Pol) Ade Ary Syam Indradi when contacted as confirmation, did not respond.
