TANGERANG - The South Tangerang City Government (Tangsel) plans to evaluate all RT heads in its area. The evaluation was carried out in the aftermath of the beating against the Pamulang University (Unpam) student group on Jalan Ampera Poncol, Setu, South Tangerang, recently.

"All (revaluation of RT and RW throughout South Tangerang), we must convey the name of the evaluation," said the Head of the South Tangerang Kesbangpol, Bani Khosyatulloh, to reporters at the South Tangerang Police, Tuesday, May 7.

He asked all RTs and other devices to think about all his actions. Because, it can have a long tail that is not only in his own territory.

"Don't be reactive quickly, don't think long, and it's human and can experience things like that," he said.

Bani said that every time something happens, it will definitely be used as an evaluation material. Especially events that interfere with security.

"Every activity, we must evaluate every incident, things that can indeed interfere with Kamtibmas, we must evaluate it, meaning that it is a lesson for us," he said.

The beating of residents who were worshiping again took place. This time it took place in the Setu area, South Tangerang. The news of this beating went viral on social media. After receiving the report, the police immediately launched an investigation.

Until finally, Tuesday 7 May, the South Tangerang Police (Tangsel) named four people as suspects. One of the four suspects is the head of the local RT.

"We conclude that there is sufficient evidence so that several witnesses involved are named as suspects," said South Tangerang Police Chief, AKBP Ibnu Bagus Santoso to reporters at the South Tangerang Police, Tuesday, May 7.

For his actions, four perpetrators were charged with Article 2 Paragraph 1 of the Emergency Law no. 1951 in conjunction with Article 170 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 351 of the Criminal Code paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 335 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 10 years in prison.
