KPK Investigates Corruption Of Home Land For Rp. 0 DP, Febri Diansyah Sees Evidence Of Accusations Against Novel Baswedan And DKI Provincial Government
JAKARTA - Anti-corruption activist Febri Diansyah spoke about the corruption case of the IDR 0 DP house land which was handled by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Febri said that this investigation also answered the accusation that the KPK considered selective cutting in relation to the handling of alleged corruption in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
Citizens or certain groups often hear this accusation, considering that KPK senior investigator Novel Baswedan is still a relative of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
"So far, Novel has been attacked by rumors on social media and has not been linked with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)," said Febri, as quoted by VOI on his Twitter @febridiansyah, Monday, March 8.
The former KPK spokesperson assessed that this accusation might have been enlivened by groups or parties who might not like Novel Baswedan.
"Or it could be political interests," he said.
In fact, he said, every suspected corruption case that goes to the KPK will of course be handled. "The corruption case can be handled if the evidence is clear," said Febri in his tweet.
Febri invited the whole community to oversee this case. So that the investigation remains in legal channels.
In addition, Febri also hopes that the alleged corruption case of land purchase in DKI Jakarta is investigated completely.
"Hopefully this case of alleged corruption in the purchase of land in DKI will be investigated thoroughly. Spirit and respect for the KPK Investigators & Investigators who continue to work hard," said Febri closing his tweet.
Previously reported, (KPK) confirmed that it was investigating alleged corruption cases in the purchase of land in several locations for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's DP 0 Rupiah Program by DKI Jakarta BUMDs.
Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri said that his party was investigating this case after finding two pieces of evidence that were sufficient to establish a certain party as a suspect. The KPK appointed a Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) boss in this case.
"It is true after two sufficient preliminary pieces of evidence were found, the KPK is currently carrying out investigations into alleged TPK related to land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Rangon Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta Province in 2019," Ali said in his written statement to the journalist, Monday, March 8.
Even though he confirmed it, the KPK was still reluctant to elaborate on this case. This is because the suspect's announcement will be made when the arrest and detention are carried out.
"Currently, the KPK investigative team is still completing its duties first," said Ali.
He said that the KPK would of course notify the public about the construction of the case, evidence, and would explain who the suspects were, along with the articles that were suspected.
