Earthquake M 4.6 Pesisir Selatan West Sumatra Feels In Padang, Triggering Local Fault Activities
The tremors of an earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 4.6 in the waters of Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra), were felt in Padang City.
Head of Padang Panjang Geophysics Station, Suaidi Ahadi said, the epicenter earthquake at coordinates 2.04° South Latitude; 100.65 degrees East Longitude was a shallow earthquake due to local fault activity.

He appealed to the public to remain calm and not be influenced by issues that cannot be justified.
