In this analysis, it is shown that this dream has great potential to turn Jakarta into the largest economic center, as did New York in the United States.

Last year, after the first cabinet working meeting following the ASEAN and G20 summit agenda, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani revealed that the government had designed concrete steps to realize the vision of Jakarta becoming a DKJ. Along with the various economic policies taken, as discussed by President Jokowi, Jakarta has the potential to become a magnet for global investors, making it a strong international business center.
Many believe that the process of moving the country's capital and its significant impact will take decades more. An example is the capital of Brazil which moved from Rio de Janeiro to Brasilia, its influence was felt after decades of moving.
