TKN Asks Prabowo Simpatisan Not To Take To The Streets During The Presidential Election Dispute Decision At The Constitutional Court

JAKARTA - The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) asked supporters, volunteers, and organs that support the presidential and vice presidential candidate candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka not to hold an action when the Constitutional Court (MK) read out the 2024 presidential election dispute decision.

Chairman of the Strategic Coordinator of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that the request was a direct message from Prabowo Subianto and the volunteers were advised to remain calm and witness the reading of the Constitutional Court's decision at their respective homes.

"You can stay at each other's homes, at the office, or hold nobar events (watches together), without having to hold actions in front of the Constitutional Court or elsewhere," Dasco said during a press conference at the Prabowo-Gibran Volunteer Joint Secretary's House, Jakarta, Friday, April 19, which was confiscated by Antara.

According to him, Prabowo also advised his supporters to entrust the results of the 2024 Presidential Election Result Dispute (PHPU) dispute decision to the Constitutional Court judges who will make the best decisions without any intervention from any party.

The MK's clerk said that the trial for reading the PHPU dispute decision for the 2024 presidential election was held on Monday, April 22. However, Dasco also asked Prabowo-Gibran supporters not to take action the following day, Tuesday, April 23.

He also ensured that TKN would deploy a task force (task force) to carry out monitoring in order to anticipate and prevent Prabowo-Gibran supporters from carrying out actions.

"I think if you have been advised like this, usually the Prabowo-Gibran supporters will join, will be upright in one command, will keep the atmosphere conducive," he said.

In addition, Dasco also appreciated the supporters and volunteers of Prabowo-Gibran who had followed the appeal not to hold an action in the Monas area or in front of the Constitutional Court building on Friday, April 19.

Even though he was dissatisfied because Prabowo-Gibran was accused of cheating and choosing because of social assistance, Dasco was grateful that Prabowo-Gibran's supporters could be patient and follow Prabowo's request not to hold an action.

"Although there are some who have come because they have come from outside the city, thank God the TKN Task Force can appeal to return and not gather," he said.
