Fake Pilot Viral In Tangerang Fraud Up To Tens Of Millions Of Rupiah

TANGERANG - A viral video on social media shows a man wearing a pilot uniform. In the post, it was explained that the man was a fake pilot who was suspected of committing fraud against a number of victims.

There is also a photo of identification with the name Capt. Muhamad Syani and the emblem of BatikAir airline.

The image uploaded by the @infobalaraja account, the man claimed to be a pilot to attract the attention of his victims.

"Nayla, a victim of 90 million money losses. Perhaps it was monitored in the Balaraja area or its surroundings, immediately report to the police," the account wrote.

Not only that, he also tricked a number of women to go with him, with the lure of being used as flight attendants.

Not only that, there was a man who lost his car because he had been taken by the alleged fake pilot.

The latest information is that the fraud case by the fake pilot has been reported to the Tangerang City Metro Police.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang City Metro Police, Kompol Rio Mikael Tobing, confirmed the report. However, he has not been able to explain in detail.

"There is already an LP (Police Report)," Rio said when confirmed, Thursday, April 17.
