PKB Prepares Election Dispute Application Option To MK Ahead Of The Announcement Of The 2024 Presidential Election

Deputy Secretary General of PKB Syaiful Huda said his party was preparing an option to request an election dispute to the Constitutional Court (MK) ahead of the announcement of the results of the 2024 presidential election. In addition to rolling out the right of inquiry in the DPR to investigate allegations of fraud at the five-year democratic party. This was said by Huda to pay close attention to the results of the recapitulation at the national level of the 2024 General Election. It is known, the results of the recapitulation at the General Election Commission (KPU) still remain 4 provinces."Yes, we will bring it, one option, yes, we are brought into an election dispute," said Huda at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 19.The West Java electoral district member believes that the KPU can complete the recapitulation for 4 provinces on Tuesday, March 19, tonight. So that the results can be announced at the age of the schedule, namely on Wednesday, March 20, tomorrow."Because there are only four plenaries left. This afternoon West Java is with Maluku. So there are only two more, it looks like they are still (rampung, red). As far as I know in West Java there are no problems, all parties have relatively no conflict in vote acquisition. In Maluku there are a few. The rest is only Papua and Papua Mountains. I think it's okay until early in the morning it looks like they can knock the hammer," he said.Huda revealed that Paslon number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin has so far updated each other regarding the political dynamics that have occurred. Especially regarding the recapitulation of national votes carried out by the KPU."We are waiting, we also hope that the KPU will advance the schedule for the announcement, which was the previous 20 regular limits, I think tonight can be finished, I think. That's why we are waiting and Mas Anies and Gus Imin update each other from the performance of friends," he said.Huda said, in principle, PKB did not reject the quick count results, which methodologically the data could be accounted for and in line with the results of the KPU recapitulation. However, he emphasized that the public questioned the violations before the TPS voting.
"Well, what is being complained about and is being discussed by the public is pre-TPS. That's why the right of inquiry is relevant," said Huda.
