Google Calendar Adds Lock Screen Widget For IOS Devices

JAKARTA Google Calendar, Google's time and schedule management app, has been updated on iOS devices. This app brings additional widgets for lockscreen or lock screen.

This update seen in version 24.7.0 includes three widget configurations that can be added above and below the time display. This gadget will feature What's Next with upcoming events and assignments.

The first circular configuration only includes a time display for recorded events. Meanwhile, widgets of size 2 x 1 will display the duration and title of the event recorded on Google Calendar.

The third gadget will be placed at the top of the lock screen. This widget configuration display cannot be changed and will display information about events recorded on that day. If there are no events, the information will be written No Events.

In addition to adding widgets on the lock screen, Google also offers the What's Nextdyomscreen or home screen feature for iOS devices. Users can choose two forms of widgets, namely widgets measuring 1 x 1 or widgets measuring 2 x 1.

Google Calendar isn't the only app that gets widget support on the key screen. Some of the other apps that got the update are Chrome, Google Search, Maps, YouTube Music, and much more.

The addition of the keyscreen widget feature for the Google Calendar app began rolling out on Monday, February 26. The update is still being released in stages so some users may not have received the update.
