Man In South Jakarta Found Dead Under Sunday Market Flyover

JAKARTA - A man with the initials KU (33) was found dead under the Ragunan flyover towards Pasar Rebo, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta (Jaksel). Police are still investigating the cause of death of the victim.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Pasar Minggu Police, AKP Mujianto, said the body was found on Friday, February 16, at 05.00 WIB.

"The Ragunan Flyover to Pasar Rebo, approximately 5 o'clock," said Mujianto when confirmed, Friday, February 16.

Mujianto explained that his party would coordinate with the Polda Metro Jaya to search the location of the incident to determine the cause of death of the victim.

"We are coordinating with the ETLE Polda Metro Jaya to wait for the results. If he rides, people will push him, if he is alone, there will be no suicide by his illness," he said.

Meanwhile, based on the victim's mother's statement, KU said goodbye to her parents on Thursday, February 15, at 23.00 WIB.

"I just asked her mother. She lives alone, mother and child, her father is gone. She left the house if I'm not mistaken last night around 23.00 WIB, where do you go, her mother doesn't know because she didn't say," he said.

Currently, the victim has been taken to Fatmawati Hospital for further action.
