Reaching 100 Million Subscribers, Google One Launches Premium AI Package

JAKARTA – Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that Google One, a cloud storage service, has reached 100 million subscribers. This news was shared on platform X some time ago.

To celebrate this achievement, Pichai said that Google One had created a new subscription package, namely the AI Premium Package. As the name suggests, this package will provide AI features supported by Gemini.

“We hope to build on that momentum with our new Premium AI Plan offering AI features like Gemini Advanced, plus Gemini in Gmail, Docs, and more coming soon,” said Pichai.

Google One is not the only Google service that has reached 100 million subscribers. Even though YouTube has similar achievements, the timing of the achievements is different. YouTube took 9 years, while Google One only took 3 years.

Actually, the news of reaching 100 million subscribers is not surprising. When Google released its fourth-quarter earnings report last year, the company said that the number of Google One subscribers had almost reached 100 million subscribers.

With the rapid growth of Google One subscribers, this shows that people really need cloud storage services. This service is an alternative for people who have cellphones with less capacity.

Google One AI Premium has been launched in dozens of countries, one of which is Indonesia. This service uses the Gemini Ultra 1.0 model which can carry out various types of tasks, from light to complex ones such as coding.

The AI Premium package opens at a price of IDR 309 thousand per month. You can try this package for free for two months through a trial period. When the payment period approaches, you can decide to continue your subscription or stop subscribing.
