Long Holiday, 292 Thousand Vehicles Predicted To Pass On Cipali Toll Road
JAKARTA - Astra Tol Cipali predicts as many as 292 thousand vehicles will pass on the Cipali Toll Road on the long weekend holidays, Isra Mi'raj and the Chinese New Year, Thursday to Sunday 11 February.
Head of the Operations Division of Astra Tol Cipali, Sri Mulyo in Subang, said that the public will take advantage of the long holiday this weekend. So there will be traffic congestion on the Cipali Toll Road.
"It is predicted that there will be an increase in traffic accumulation by 27.5 percent when compared to normal daily traffic," Sri Mulyo said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, February 8.
The peak of the homecoming flow for the weekend of Isra Mi'raj and Chinese New Year 2024 is predicted to occur this Thursday with an increase of up to 46 percent compared to normal daily traffic.
"Meanwhile, the peak of backflow is predicted to occur on Sunday, February 11, with an increase of up to 41 percent compared to normal daily traffic," said Mulyo.
It was stated, to support the smooth flow of traffic during this weekend's holiday, Astra Tol Cipali together with Korlantas Polri in a continuous manner coordinated to prepare traffic engineering plans.
Based on the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Ministry of Transportation UM.207/6/15/DJPD/2024, the Contra Flow (CF) traffic engineering schedule will be held this Thursday, at 08.00-24.00 WIB on the Cipali KM 72-87 Toll Road. Then on Friday, February 9 at 08.00-24.00 WIB on the Cipali KM 72-87 WIB toll road.

Sri Mulyo said, in order to support the flow of weekend holidays, the standby point will be in the rest area of 86, 130, and 166 Cirebon directions.
Meanwhile, on the backflow, the alert points for ASTRA CF officers at the Cipali Toll Road are at rest areas 86, 130, and 164 towards Jakarta.
Astra Tol Cipali also imposed restrictions on goods transportation in the period 7 February 2024 at 16.00 WIB until 11 February 2024 at 24.00 WIB.
This restriction does not apply to the transportation of goods that contain fuel oil or gas fuel, delivery of money, election logistics/elections, needs for handling natural disasters, livestock, fertilizers, animal feed, and goods.
