TPN Considers Submitting Lawsuits To The Administrative Court Regarding Gibran's Candidacy
JAKARTA - The Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) is considering filing a lawsuit to the Administrative High Court (PTUN) regarding the candidacy for Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a presidential candidate (cawapres) number two which is considered a violation of ethics.
The existence of ethical violations was revealed by the Constitutional Court (MK) and the Umun Election Commission (KPU).
"The two decisions that include ethical violations that occurred in the Constitutional Court and at the KPU gave reasons to file a state administrative lawsuit. We are considering that," said TPN Deputy for Law Ganjar-Mahfud, Todung Mulya Lubis to reporters, Tuesday, February 6.
However, continued Tudong, there are several groups that have stated a lawsuit to the Administrative Court. However, it was not clearly stated when the lawsuit would be filed.
Especially for TPN, until now it is still being discussed comprehensively regarding this matter.
"So it means maybe we will do that. But maybe we will do something else," he said.
According to him, TPN can also take other steps by writing to the KPU and Bawaslu regarding the nomination of Gibran Rakabuming Raka who is considered a violation of ethics.
"Because we could have asked or written a letter to the chairman of the KPU or to the sub-district head of this object. So this is still one thing that we are discussing internally," said Tudong.

DKPP previously stated that KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari violated the code of ethics because he accepted Gibran's candidacy as a vice presidential candidate without first changing the regulations according to the Constitutional Court's decision.
Apart from Hasyim, DKPP also sanctioned other KPU members. They are Betty Epsilon Idroos, Mochamad Afifuddin, Parsadaan Harahap, Yulianto Sudrajat, Idham Holik, and August Mellaz.
Just like Hasyim, in that decision the six people were also given strict warning sanctions.
Then, there was also the decision of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) which stated that Anwar Usman violated ethics in handling the judicial review of the vice presidential requirements which then passed Gibran.
