Bawaslu Conducts Clarification Regarding Campaigns Involving Children
BENGKULU - The General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) has clarified to the Bengkulu City Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) regarding the campaign involving children some time ago.The Coordinator of the Bengkulu City Bawaslu Division for Handling, Utilization and Dispute Violation (Kordiv PPPS) Ahmad Maskuri said the clarification was carried out in connection with alleged campaign violations involving children on January 11, 2024."Bawaslu has invited clarification to the Office of the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning Bengkulu City regarding alleged violations of the presidential candidate campaign in Bengkulu some time ago," he said in Bengkulu City, Antara, Sunday, January 28.Based on the results of the clarification that has been carried out, his party will conduct studies and recommendations related to the alleged violation of the campaign, and will be submitted to a number of parties, one of which is KPAI.According to Ahmad, the recommendation for alleged violations to the Child Protection Commission (KPAI) was submitted because there was involvement of children in the campaign."Later, we will convey the results of the study to several parties," he said.
Previously, the Bengkulu City Bawaslu had also clarified the regional winning team (TPD) regarding alleged campaign violations. Clarification made to the TPD because the Bengkulu City Bawaslu found that there were minors participating in campaign activities.
