A Week Has Passed, The Case Of The Murder Of An Online Taxi Driver In Cililitan Has Not Been Revealed
The East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) is still pursuing the perpetrators of the stabbing of an online taxi driver who died on the side of Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Cililitan, Kramatjati District, East Jakarta, last week.
"(the gang of perpetrators) are still being chased," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Armunanto when confirmed by VOI, Monday, January 22.
The case is still being handled by a joint team from the East Jakarta Metro Police and the Kramatjati Police.

Previously, Rahmat Zulkarnain (51), a Cililitan resident, was found dead after being stabbed by a sickle after working as an online taxi driver on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Cililitan, Kramatjati District, East Jakarta.
Until this news was written, the motive for the death of the victim was not yet known. The case is still being handled by the East Jakarta Metro Police and the Kramatjati Police.

"At around half past 6 am, I gave his wife to the house information that her husband was hacked. I immediately accompanied his wife out, but the victim had been taken to the hospital," said Head of RT 03/01, Anang to reporters, Tuesday, January 16.
The victim was hacked by two perpetrators whose identities were not yet known.
"What was left there (the location of the incident) was only evidence, sickles. The perpetrator rode a motorbike, two people. Alone (who attacked the victim), his friend was waiting on the motorbike. Getting off the motorbike was immediately attacked, immediately left again," he said.

The victim suffered an injury to the left chest. Although he was taken to the hospital, unfortunately the victim's life could not be saved.
