Case Of 6.3 Kilograms Of Methamphetamine, Surabaya Police Investigate The Circulation Of Drugs From The Java-Bali Network
Surabaya Police are investigating the circulation of narcotics, psychotropic substances, and illegal drugs (drugs) from the Java and Bali networks.
Deputy Head of Drug Investigation at the Surabaya Police, Kompol Fadillah Panara, said two dealers had been named as suspects. The police secured evidence of narcotics of the type of methamphetamine weighing a total of 6.3 kilograms and ecstasy pills of 10,068 pills.
"Each suspect has the initials RM (45), a resident of Denpasardan EM (36), a resident of Surabaya," said Kompol Fadillah Panara as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 19.
The two suspects were arrested in the hotel parking lot in the Surabaya area on January 5, 2024, while carrying the crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy pills to Denpasar.
Of the total evidence that has been secured, he said, some were obtained in the development of investigations during the search of the RM suspect boarding house in Denpasar.
To the police, the suspect RM admitted that he received orders from another dealer with the initials R to take methamphetamine and ecstasy pills in the city of Surabaya, then planned to take the goods to Denpasar by driving a Brio car.
The suspect RM admitted that he had carried out R's orders twice. The first action was quite successful by getting a salary of Rp. 40 million. This wage has been paid.

In carrying out the second action, RM was promised a wage of Rp120 million. However, it has not been paid because it was eventually ambushed by the police.
The police are investigating all of the suspect's confessions for the development of the investigation, including developing an investigation to hunt down someone with the initials R who is said to have given orders.
The police are also still investigating the origins of the narcotics to be sent to Bali.
"Investigations are still being developed to uncover narcotics trafficking syndicates in Java and Bali," said Kompol Fadillah.
