17 Days Of Raid, Surakarta Police Take 272 Vehicles Using Brong Exhaust

JAKARTA Within 17 days, the Surakarta Police have taken 272 actions against Brong exhaust users. Surakarta Police Chief Kombes Iwan Saktiadi said his activities were in order to welcome the 2024 peace election activities.

"We have implemented it from January 1, 2024 to January 17, 2024," said Kombes Iwan Saktiadi in a written statement, Thursday, January 18.

In more detail, the largest number came from motorcycles as many as 271. As for cars using Brong exhaust, there is only 1 action.

The police chief added that the Brong exhaust action was because its use was very disturbing to public order and could disturb other road users. In addition, it can also trigger vulnerability due to offense from the use of Brong exhaust.

"So, there are several incidents where the trigger starts from the use of Brong exhaust which of course can provoke offense. This results in events that we certainly don't want," he said.

The ban on the use of Brong exhaust, continued the Chief of Police, is a direct order from the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Achmad Luthfi. That for Central Java in order to welcome peaceful elections must and must be zero exhaust Brong.
