Police Suspect The Cause Of Women's Death In Tanjung Priok Port Container Due To Lack Of Oxygen
The police suspect that the body of a woman found in a rotten condition in a container of loading and unloading terminal at Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta, had been dead since 2-10 weeks ago. This is known based on observations of skin tone when found.
"From the testimony of the forensic doctor of the National Police, the physical discovery of the woman's body was 50-65 years old. From observations, skin tones and others, the age of death was 2-10 weeks," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanjung Priok Port Police, Iptu I Gusti Ngurah Putu Khrisna when confirmed, Thursday, January 18.
He also revealed that there were no signs of violence on the victim's body. Therefore, Khrisna suspects that the woman's body died due to lack of oxygen.
From the results of physical observations, there were no signs of violence, no parts of the body or bones were broken. It was found that there was a sign of a lack of oxygen," he said.
Khrisna admitted that her party had difficulty checking the victim's fingerprints. Because the condition of his body has dried up.
"Until now, there are difficulties related to the condition of fingerprints that dry up or mumified, that's from the Police Inafis still trying," he said.
Meanwhile, for other characteristics, the victim has an estimated height of up to 150 centimeters. He is a resident of Surabaya, East Java.

Therefore, to reveal the identity of the victim, his party coordinated with the East Java Regional Police and the Suarabaya Police.
"If there is information that people are missing there, or families are looking for it, we have coordinated, we have also informed the physical characteristics of yesterday's body findings," he concluded.
