Cerita Tukang Pasang Spanduk Caleg Dibayar Rp25 Ribu, Asal Pantek Tapi Tidak Mengerti Peraturan

TANGERANG During the 2024 election campaign period, a number of campaign props (APK) for presidential and vice presidential candidates (Cawapres) as well as legislative candidates (Caleg) were installed in various places. However, many APKs are displayed in inappropriate places.

Based on the official website of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) APK, it is prohibited to be installed in places of worship, hospitals or health services, educational places including buildings or school grounds, trees, universities, government buildings, and other facilities. But the fact is that many APBs are installed in violation of regulations.

An APK installer from one of the legislative candidates admitted that he did not know about the APB installation regulations.

Samson, his nickname, admitted that he received Rp. 25,000 for each banner of legislative candidates he installed in Tangerang City. Samson put up a banner whose point had already been determined by the legislative candidate.

"One banner is Rp. 25 thousand. I am two people, put up 10 banners to Rp. 250 thousand," said Samson when interviewed by VOI, Tuesday, January 16.

In the midst of the 2024 election campaign, Samson was flooded with orders to install the APK. The proof is, after he managed to put up 10 banners, he again received orders to put up 20 banners in Tangerang City.

"A week later he asked to be paired again. He asked for 20 banners. But when I asked for 20 banners to be added to Rp30 thousand. At first I wanted to give Rp500 thousand. I said add it, so I got Rp600 thousand," he said.

Regarding the point of installation of the APK, Samson admitted that he only carried out his duties based on orders from his candidates.

"The direction is on the power pole, if you can't do it on the tree. The important thing is the distance is far away. The rainbow is already available rich in Yupentek," he said.

Samson received protests from residents when installing the APK. However, at that time he did not argue much, he only contacted his candidate.

"Ever, when we installed it in Periuk (City of Tangerang), there were residents there asking, "Have you got the RT permit yet?", said Samson, telling his experience.

"I answered. I got directions to install it here. Then I called the legislative candidate who told me. After that I was asked to move the location. 'He asked to move, so I moved. Anyway, side by side," he said.
