Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin assessed the fatal accident of two Turangga trains (KA) with the Greater Bandung Commuter Line in the Cicalengka area, Bandung Regency, West Java, Friday, January 5 morning.
According to him, the accident of the two trains 'bond' was the result of inaccuracy in the railway regulation system.
"Wow, that's a danger, what are we, it's not correct, it's not careful, it's an accident. That's a term that's an unwanted incident. But this is a problem with technical problems, arrangements, arrangements that occur there are distortions so that distortions occur. That's what can't happen, it's fatal," said Ma'ruf in Jakarta, Friday, January 5.
Ma'ruf assessed that accuracy in the system of regulating public transportation modes is important. The reason is, from the impact that occurs such as this accident, life is at stake.
"Therefore, in the future, it must be true that it must be more thorough. This is human life, of course also other losses," he said.
Ma'ruf encouraged PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) and stakeholders related to this accident to conduct an in-depth evaluation so that the cause was found to minimize similar incidents from happening again.
"Maybe it should be corrected where it is located, whether human beings are human error, or there are technical arrangements. That's where it is located. So if human error must be correct, the selection that is responsible for that," he said.
The Turangga train accident related to Bandung-Surabaya with Commuter Line Bandung Raya occurred at KM 181+5/4 Babakan Village, Cicalengka Village, Bandung Regency at around 06.03 WIB, Friday, January 5.
