Ukrainian Foreign Minister Says Europe Doesn't Know How To War

JAKARTA - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Europeans do not know how to fight and arms production is not the most popular topic.

"Europe doesn't know how to fight. Gun production is not the most popular business," he told the Independent Kiev newspaper, reported by TASS December 29.

"Unfortunately, our friends spent too much time discussing how and when to increase the production of weapons and ammunition," continued Kuleba.

Foreign Minister Kuleba further explained that the problem was not on the quality of European weapons, but the inability to increase the production of technology weapons.

"It won't be enough if the situation doesn't change. And Russia will be in front of us," the top diplomat said.

At the same time, Kuleba showed an important role for the West in equipping the Ukrainian armed forces with modern weapons, including long-range missiles, and added that the F-16 fighter was on its way.

However, he also noted that he was "more concerned about the pace of development of defense production than the delivery of new types of weapons."

In this case, Foreign Minister Kuleba reiterated his thesis on the need for coordinated action from the European Union military industry complex, the United States and its allies.

It is known that Kiev has received more than $24 billion in military aid from Washington throughout the year. The European Union itself has provided nearly US$90 billion in military aid since February 2022, but Ukraine continues to demand supplies of new military ammunition and equipment, including fighter jets.
