Honda Releases The Latest Odyssey With A More Luxury Change

JAKARTA - Recently, Honda launched the latest premium minivan, Odyssey, for the Japanese market with several refreshes to the exterior, interior, until the latest e:HEV hybrid technology was presented.

Reporting from the official website of Honda Global, Friday, December 8, the three variants consist of e: HEV Absolute, e: HEV Absolute EX, and e: HEV Absolute EX Black Edition. Despite significant changes, this car still inherits the unique comfort of this series.

According to the manufacturer, Odyssey offers driving stability such as sedans and minivan-style luxury, which is made possible by the upgraded low-floor platform, original style, and comfortable cabin space.

The interior is equipped with a redesigned front goal with a five-stop horizontal pattern that gives the maximum premium impression with Honda's emblem standing out front.

For the variant e:HEV Absolute EX Black Edition, this minivan is equipped with a black chrome-coated front jar with a back lamp given a touch of black smoke lens. Besides, it has 18-inch Berlina Black Matte rim and a roof and pillar covered in black.

Another decorative black part combined across interiors and exteriors, expressing the sophistication of Honda's highest model in Japan.

For all types it has a four-way power seat on the second row. The manufacturer provides an electrification function on the rotman and reclining control allowing for a more precise seat adjustment so that customers can be in a more comfortable sitting position.

In addition, there are also heating chairs, foldable center tables, mini-tables, and USB Type-C chargers at the feet of chairs are standard equipment for all types, further increasing the comfort of second row passengers.

The car is equipped with Honda Sensing technology, which includes the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Collision Mitigation CONTROL, Low Speed Brake Function, Pedestrian Collision Mitigation Steering System, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) System, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow, Auto High Beam Headlights, and others.

The Honda Connect is also presented as a standard that can remotely control several AC units using smartphones and WiFi connections in vehicles. Customers can also use the Honda Total Care Premium connected service designed to allow them to enjoy using their vehicles more calmly and comfortably.

All variants have a hybrid e: HEV dual motor system that joins the 2.0 liter DOHC i-VTEC with front wheels driving accompanied by eCVT transmission. This car is sold in Japan at prices ranging from 4.8 million yen (a range of Rp516 million) to 5.164 million yen (equivalent to Rp55.1 million). The premium minivan is planned to be produced for 1,000 units per month.
