TKN Prabowo-Gibran Sentil Balik Cak Imin Who Failed To Understand The Pre-Employment Card Program

JAKARTA - Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Nusron Wahid, responded to the statement of candidate for vice president number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin), who criticized the Pre-Employment Card program.

Nusron assessed that Cak Imin failed to understand the Pre-Employment Card program run by President Joko Widodo's government.

"I'm sorry, Cak Imin, seems to have failed to understand the latest effective and efficient learning and training model," Nusron told reporters, Friday, December 8.

Nusron also explained the benefits of the Pre-Employment program. One of them is able to improve the abilities of the participants. In fact, he said, some even received international awards.

"This program has proven effective and has succeeded in providing skills, up-skilling, re-skilling. As well as receiving international awards," explained the former Head of BNP2TKI.

The head of the Bappilu Golkar Party then flicked Cak Imin back. According to him, the PKB chairman criticized the Pre-Employment Card because the program was not under the auspices of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker).

"Maybe Cak Imin hopes that from the start this program will be in the Ministry of Manpower whose Minister is PKB," he quipped.

Nusron said the government chose to assign the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy to work on the program so as not to cause problems at the Ministry of Manpower.

"The government has made a special unit under the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy. Because there is still a governance issue within the Ministry of Manpower. BPK's findings and the attention of the legal apparatus are large. If it is placed there (Kemnaker) it will be a problem," he concluded.

Previously, the candidate for vice president of the Change Coalition, Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin), criticized the Pre-Employment Card program run by President Joko Widodo's government. According to him, the implementation of the program was ineffective.

In fact, the Pre-Employment was originally intended as a training program or apprenticeship of prospective workers financed by the government, in collaboration with a number of institutions.

However, in its implementation in 2020, the recipient of the Pre-Employment Card only underwent online viewing or tutoring training.

"The purpose of Pre-Employment is actually for apprenticeship. Well, how come this is watching YouTube, paying, what is currently happening. Pre-employment is watching YouTube paid for, what makes YouTube paid for. In fact, what is the urgency? The transition between education world graduates from SMK, SMA, S1 who will go to the world of work," said Cak Imin in launching 1 million Anies-Muhaimin Village Spokesperson in Cibubur, East Jakarta, Thursday, December 7.
