Digital Assets Worth IDR 11.6 Trillion Will Be Launched In December 2023
JAKARTA - A number of digital assets worth around US$ 750 million (IDR 11.6 trillion) are scheduled to be unlocked and released to the market in December 2023.
Among the projects releasing locked tokens, the decentralized exchange DYdX will release the largest amount. The exchange is scheduled to release 150 million embedded tokens for investors, founders and employees in December. The token is worth nearly $500 million at current market prices.
Initially, the token that was emitted by DYdX was supposed to be released in February. However, the exchange announced in January that the detention period would be extended. Instead, the token is now scheduled to be released on December 1, 2023, at 09:00 a.m. UTC (07.00 a.m. local time). After the initial lockdown date in December, the company will release more tokens between January 2024 and June 2024.

Apart from DYdX, other projects are also scheduled to release their token allocation in the near future. According to token data tracker, Token Unlocks, Ethereum layer-2 network, Optimism, it is also scheduled to release 24 million tokens of Optimism (OP), worth around 41 million US dollars (Rp635.1 billion), on November 30.
Apart from DYdX and Optimism, the decentralized financial protocol 1inch Network will release about 98 million 1inch tokens (1INCH) on December 1. The token is worth around 33 million US dollars (IDR 511.1 billion).
Meanwhile, the Proof-of-stake Aptos-based blockchain project will also be one of the projects that released significant tokens in December. Data from Token Unlocks shows that on December 12, Aptos will release nearly 25 million Aptos tokens worth nearly 180 million US dollars (IDR 2.7 trillion).
