Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Supports The 2024 World PPI International Symposium

JAKARTA - Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin supports the plan to hold an International Symposium of the 2024 World Indonesian Student Association (PPI) which will be held in Budapest, Hungary, in September 2024.

"I welcome the World PPI conference in Hungary in 2024. I think this is a good meeting that will produce good recommendations for the government," said Ma'ruf Amin in a written statement from the World PPI reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 27.

Ma'ruf emphasized the importance of knowing what the government can do to always be able to support World PPI activities.

"I hope that PPI will become a place for our scholars to convey ideas and thoughts for the progress of Indonesia," he said.

Ma'ruf hopes that the International Symposium will produce formulas and recommendations for the direction of Indonesia's development.

Ma'ruf is on a working visit to Bratislava, Slovakia, and is attending a national dialogue where the World PPI participated in the event.

During the event, the waprses expressed his appreciation to Indonesian migrant workers who have made a big contribution to the country's economy.

The World PPI has an annual agenda called the World PPI International Symposium which aims to discuss the organization and evaluation of World PPI activities, share ideas, and formulate solutions in the form of ideas and concrete actions for Indonesia from Indonesian students who are in various countries.
