Solve Civil Problems, Pertamina Signs MoU With Jambi Prosecutor's Office
JAMBI - The Jambi High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pertamina Jambi Field to resolve legal problems in the civil and state administration sector.
Jambi High Prosecutor Elan Suherlan signed this MoU with General Manager of Zone I PT Pertamina Jambi Field, Heri Widodo. Elen said that this collaboration intends to help Pertamina Jambi, including her legal assistance and consultation.
"With this cooperation, it is Pertamina's obligation to help Pertamina if at any time there is a case of civil law and state administration," said Elan in Jambi, Thursday, November 23, as quoted by Antara.
Kajati Jambi Elan also conveyed that the Datun sector to the Prosecutor's Office has the authority to give legal considerations to parties in need such as the government or BUMN/BUMD with a special power of attorney.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Kajati Jambi juga berpesan kepada pihak Pertamina EP untuk selalu belajar dari pengalaman seperti pengamanan aset, tidak hanya memperhatikan dari sepihak fisik saja tetapi juga administrasi, karena bukti kepemilikan dari aset yang dimiliki adalah surat dan dokumen administrasi.
"Pertamina can inventory its assets in order to avoid disputes that occur in the future," said Elan.

General Manager of Zone I Pertamina, Heri Widodo said that currently Pertamina is required to produce fuel as much as one million barrels per day, so Pertamina expands its drilling area with land acquisition with oil points, but sometimes this process often occurs in friction with the local community.
"For this reason, with the signing of the MoU, it is hoped that the Prosecutor's Office can legally assist Pertamina in dealing with disputes later," said Heri.
During the meeting were also present by the Jambi Attorney General's Assistant, Jambi Merang Field Manager, Datun Coordinator, Pertamina Region Jambi Legal.
