Natuna Residents Are Flooded With Pain, Basarnas Evacuates Amid Inundation
NATUNA - Basarnas evacuated a 50-year-old resident of Natuna Regency who was sick in the middle of a flood puddle.
Head of Basarnas Natuna Abdul Rahman said the residents who were evacuated were flooded.
"One resident of Air Lebay, Batu Hitam Village, East Bunguran District, aged about 50 years, in a sick condition, we moved him to his family's house which was not affected by the flood," he said in Natuna, Riau Islands (Kapri), Sunday, November 19, which was confiscated by Antara.
Abdul said the water level that inundated the Natuna residents' residence reached one meter due to the high intensity of rain since the last few days.
"The flood also submerged several roads, such as Jalan Kolonel Pnb Sumihar Sihotang and roads in the Air Lebay area. To avoid accidents, the roads were temporarily closed," he said.

"The height has reached more than one meter, but now it has begun to decrease," he said.
