Having Changed Coaches, PSS Sleman Still Failed To Win
SLEMAN - PSS Sleman is still difficult to win. Even though he has changed coaches, PSS has not achieved a positive result. In the continuation of the League 1 competition at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Saturday, October 21, PSS was only able to draw 2-2 against Persik Kediri.
The previous coach, Marian Mihail, was considered to have failed to fulfill his expectations because PSS only struggled on the middle board. Even the supporters have asked Mihail to be dismissed.
Despite having defended the coach, PSS finally made a reshuffle in the coaching ranks. The 3-1 defeat to Dewa United in the match before the competition break ended with Mihail's removal. His position was replaced by his assistant, Bertrand Crasson.
However, Crasson has not yet answered the fans' desire to win the match. In his own home debut, Crasson failed to get three points after being held to a draw by Persik.
The result extends PSS' poor record in domestic competitions, especially when playing at home. PSS only won once in home matches. At that time they won over Bhayangkara Presisi on August 13. They also only won nine points in home matches.
On the other hand, PSS' away record is still better. Because Laskar Elang Java is able to reap 10 points. Losing a lot of points at home makes PSS more struggling at the bottom.
PSS, who were only able to get one point from the match, are still stuck in 14th place with 19 points. They are only six points ahead of the team in the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Persik is in a better position. They are ranked 12th after getting 20 points. The same as Persija Jakarta and Persis Solo.
In a match without spectators, PSS actually played well and pressed the opponent's defense. There are at least two opportunities through Ricky Cawor and Jihad Ayoub. Unfortunately, their efforts still hit the Persik goal post.
PSS had taken the lead after striker Hokky Caraka scored a goal in the 18th minute. However, the goal was disallowed because referee Rio Permana Putra considered the Indonesian national team striker to be in an offside position.
The hosts finally took the lead after Wahyudi Hamisi scored a 31 minute goal. However, PSS' advantage did not last long.
Persik successfully equalized the score through Flavio Silva who broke into PSS goal in the 41st minute. The score changed to 1-1 and lasted until the end of the first half.

In the second half, PSS continued to put pressure on it. However, their efforts could not give a goal. PSS attacks can always be broken by the White Tigers' defense.
On the other hand, Persik took the lead. In the 66th minute, Flavio managed to score a brace. However, Persik's advantage did not last long.
PSS only needed one minute to equalize the score. This time, naturalized midfielder Esteban Vizcarra through an overhead kick. The goal changed the score to 2-2 and lasted until the end of the match
"The disappointing result was that we lost two points," Crasson said in response to the draw.
"However, praise deserves to be given to players who dare to improvise in the match. They also play with enthusiasm and try to maximize their chances of becoming goals. We will try to be better in the next match," he said.
