BNN Finds Hundreds Of Planting-Prone Points In Aceh
BANDA ACEH - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) found around 300 more vulnerable points in the mountainous area of Aceh which are prone to cannabis planting activities.
"As a result of our monitoring, it is possible that there will be opportunities for cannabis fields to be planted, there are more than 300 in Aceh," said Acting Director of Narcotics Deputy for Eradication of BNN Kombes Guntur Aryo Tejo, in Aceh Besar as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 3.
The findings, he said, were based on the results of a satellite mapping carried out with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Get more than 300 vulnerable points in the Aceh region.
Guntur emphasized that currently his party continues to intensify the implementation of the hard power approach strategy as their real effort to fight drugs.

In accordance with Article 111 Paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics, it is stated that it is related to the prohibition of planting, maintaining, storing, controlling, or providing class I narcotics of marijuana.
"Our efforts to intensify the hard power approach strategy as a tangible manifestation of fighting drugs," said Guntur.
In the period of 2023, BNN has found and destroyed about 20 hectares of marijuana fields spread over several districts in Aceh.
