Manchester United's Central Line Is Back To Prima, Erik Ten Hag Gets Three Key Players Against Crystal Palace
JAKARTA - Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag, is hoping that Sergio Reguilon, Christian Eriksen, and Scott McTominay, can all return to the squad in the Premier League match against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday, September 30. The three Red Devils players missed their 3-0 win over Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup third round on Tuesday 26 September due to illness.
Reguilon felt unwell before United's 1-0 win against Burnley on Saturday last week. But this left-back forced Ten Hag to play him at Turf Moor and finally performed for 79 minutes.
The loan player from Tottenham Hotspur was then forced to stay away from Carrington's training center for a while. Because the club protocol advises players who are sick to stay away to prevent the spread of the disease.
Meanwhile, both Eriksen and McTominay are in the squad for the win against Burnley. Even McTominay, played its first 90 minutes of the season. The two MU players also took part in training on Monday this week.
However, the midfield pair were reportedly sick before the match against Crystal Palace on Tuesday and were eventually left out of the Ten Hag squad.
The three players were doubtful in the Premier League match against Palace on Saturday, but Man United seem to have had some good news about their fitness.
According to the Daily Mail, Ten Hag hopes that the three players will be fit and ready to perform this weekend. The four-day gap between the two games on Tuesday and Saturday gave the three players enough time to recover.
Reguilon has made three appearances for Manchester United since joining the club earlier this month. He started the Premier League match against Burnley and Brighton & Hove Albion. He later became a substitute in the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
Eriksen has made six appearances for the Red Devils as a whole in all competitions, including four starters. While McTominay has started in two of the five games he has played this season.
Meanwhile, Manchester United will assess the fitness of centre-back Leandro Martinez, who missed a midweek victory over Palace with a minor leg injury.

The Red Devils will also not be strengthened by the back trio of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw, andten Malacia, who still have to recover from a muscle injury. Meanwhile, Amad Diallo (lutut) and Kobbie Mainoo (arining) were not expected to return until after the next international break in mid-October.
MU must also cope with Antony's absence, who is on leave after facing charges of beating him. Moreover, Jadon Sancho, who was exiled from first team training, followed a crowded social media incident involving Ten Hag.
Coming in ninth in the Premier League standings with nine points from their opening six games, United will try to reduce the five-point gap that separates them from the top four. This could happen when they face Palace, which is in one place and one point behind them in 10th place.
