Wrapped Like Pocong, Deva Mahenra Almost Carried Away The Burial Atmosphere

JAKARTA - Deva Mahenra again graced the big screen by playing in the film The Story of the Land of Java: Pocong Gundul as Om Hao. Awi Suryadi's film starts airing on September 21.

In a scene, it looks like it has turned into a pocong. Deva was silent when he saw the grave that was used was not a lie and was actually in the cemetery area.

"Does it feel 'pocinated'? Wow, the question is really good, what does it feel like in pocangin, actually it's more like that. Luckily, I don't have claustrophobia because that's what holes are specially available, Mas?," said Deva Mahenra in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 13.

"We are exploring in such a way and indeed the area is a real burial area, which is what I understand," he continued.

Doing one of the extreme actions, the husband of Mikha Tambayong admitted that he had to try to always wake up. Although he explained that he was carried away with the atmosphere when he played the role of pocong.

"Anyway, during the shooting process, I tried to keep what I was doing to maintain interactions with the surroundings, I didn't want to be empty, I didn't want to be carried away, I didn't want to be swept away because wherever acting is an honest emotion but the situation is fake," he explained.

"Even though there was a moment where it was almost carried away by the atmosphere, the lie there was wrapped, it was like a klepon was wrapped. Eh, is the klepon wrapped or not? Then there are moments, where like the crew is busy, my own players, there is a silent moment, it's just when we wait to take us there is a silent moment," he said.

"Well, that's the moment I took care of, that's why I also thank all the crew because they also served me to interact," he added.
