Ganjar's Leadership Is Memorable, Walkot Ita: Governor Helps Advance Old City
SEMARANG - Semarang Mayor (Walkot) Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu admitted that there were several impressions of Ganjar Pranowo's leadership during his tenure as Governor of Central Java (Central Java), especially the development of the Old City area.
"He who is always supported, has a lot of support, especially we are very impressed on how to develop the Old City area," said Ita, Hevearita's nickname in Semarang, Central Java, Tuesday, September 5, was confiscated by Antara.
This was conveyed by him on the sidelines of the people's party titled "Thank You Central Java" welcoming the retired Governor and Deputy Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo-Taj Yasin Maimoen.
"He first invited the Minister of SOEs (State-Owned Enterprises). Moreover, there (the Old City) there were SOEs whose buildings were revitalized," he said.
In the end, the Semarang City Government was able to continue the development of the Old City area so that it is now becoming more beautiful and becoming a leading tourist destination in Central Java.
"Then, we will continue and Alhamdulillah the Old City can be like now, and that is an inseparable part of Ganjar," he said.
Together with Deputy Governor Taj Yasin, Ita said that many programs from the Central Java Provincial Government can be felt by the people of Central Java, including Semarang City, which is the provincial capital.

Representing the people of Semarang City, he admitted that he felt lost with his retired Ganjar and Taj Yasin who had led Central Java for five years.
Ganjar has been leading Central Java for two terms. His first period was accompanied by Heru Sudjatmoko as deputy governor, and his second period with Taj Yasin.
Not only people who feel lost, he said, within the government also feel lost over Ganjar's leadership for 10 years.
"We also pray for him to be more advanced and of course, we as part of the residents of Central Java and Semarang City certainly feel very lost," he concluded.
Ganjar Pranowo's term of office with Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen officially ended on September 5, 2023.
President Joko Widodo has appointed the former South Sulawesi Police Chief, who now serves as the President Inspector of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, Nana Sudjana as Acting Governor of Central Java.
