Mataram Police Arrest Fugitive In Denpasar Police Theft Case
The Mataram City Police, West Nusa Tenggara arrested a fugitive in a case of alleged theft from the Denpasar City Police, Bali, with the initials DW (26), from Pringgarata, Central Lombok Regency.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mataram Police, Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama, said officers arrested the fugitive from information from residents who were able to thwart his crime in the Batulayar area, West Lombok Regency.
"Therefore, we thank the people who have helped us in thwarting the DW action which was recorded as a fugitive from the Denpasar Police," said Yogi as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 4.
The crime that was thwarted by residents occurred on Sunday (3/9). The perpetrator at that time was about to steal a two-wheeled vehicle at a resident's house.

After being arrested, it was revealed that DW had also acted in the Mataram City area. This action is related to the theft of two-wheeled vehicles.
"Because it was revealed that we had acted in our jurisdiction, so we carried out a legal process against the person concerned," he said.
For the case that recorded the fugitive DW of the Denpasar Police, Yogi said that his party had coordinated with local police investigators.
"Yes, the person concerned is on the police wanted list for running away when he was about to be detained at the Denpasar Police. However, because there is a case here, we will do the legal process first," he said.
