How The Indies Invite The Audience To Feel The 'Last Rest' Atmosphere
JAKARTA - The East Indies continued its journey for the album concert Besides Life Will End with the dismissal in Semarang City.
Carrying the theme 'Last Rest', the Indies will perform 23 songs from the first album and both live in the Borsumy Heritage Parking Area, Semarang Old Town.
After coming with the thematic concept in Surabaya, the Indies again relied on a mature concept to entertain fans in Semarang. Now, visitors are asked to bring a photo of a loved one who has already left, to be pinned to a memorabilia wall as a form of remembering their previous struggles.
The CEO of Antara Suara Andri Verraning Ayu conveyed that the theme raised for the city of Semarang was prepared as a form of appreciation and memory of those who had left us first.
The theme in Semarang, namely 'Last Rest' may feel very sensitive to some fans. But we deliberately invite you to surf into the past and reminisce about the times when they are next to us. We celebrate sweet memories when they are still around. We deliberately choose a location in the Old City of Semarang so that the impression can be felt even more," he said in an official statement.
The East Indies said that the theme of the 'Last Rest' was not to remember sadness.
This theme can be interpreted as sad or happy. But I want to invite you to remember those who have left in joy and happiness. Because of the kindness in our life today, it may be that many of them have opened up," said the man whose real name is Baskara Putra.
Sure enough, the East Indies started this concert without any opening performances as usual. Instead of raising the audience's mood with a light dance and fast music beat, the audience was made of goosebumps with a visual electrocardiogram and a heartbeat. Then the silhouette of the Indies and friends appeared on stage in the accompaniment of Intro One Day more.
Throughout the show, the voice messages collected from the audience since the previous week were played alternately. It contains the names of the people who will come to their funeral, what was done on the last day of life, when and because of what died, as well as messages to people who have passed away first successfully lowered their emotions. Many of the audience were crying. There are those who choose to rest for a moment to calm themselves.
I want to be one of the concert points that we carry out solemnly. People will still come home happily. But the happiness is different, they are happy because they can watch a good show with themes and concepts they have never seen before," Baskara said.
Although most of the shows are filled with setlists that evoke memories of the past, the East Indies still invites viewers to dance through popular songs such as Rings and Celebrate Careers This has Nothing to do with it.

The 'Last Rest' show is closed with the presentation of the Extended version of the song Who Will Come to Your Cemetery Later. This time, through the LED screen, the entire Borsumy Heritage field seemed to be shown the atmosphere of being put into the grave and buried by thousands of people who came. The East Indies then disappeared from the stage along with the fading of all the lights.
The series of tours continued in Bandung tonight at the Cornerstone Auditorium, Paskal Hyper Square. In this third city, the East Indies brought the theme Family Reunion with the figure of Alexandra as the main character in the story on stage.
