Earthquake In The Northeast Of Sigi, Central Sulawesi, BMKG Imbau Masyarakat Guncangan Susulan

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 rocked the northeastern region of Sigi, Central Sulawesi at 08.44 WIB, Sunday.

BMKG in Jakarta, Sunday, August 6, noted that the earthquake was centered on land, precisely at coordinates 1.19 south latitude and 120.26 east longitude or 47 northeast of Sigi with a depth of 16 km.

BMKG appealed to the public to be careful of aftershocks that may occur.
