Make Sure The Land Of Rentak In South Sumatra Land Talang Is Not Dangerous, BPBD Still Invites The PUPR Service To Check Deeply
The cracked soil hit the Talang Darat Hamlet area, North Dempo District, South Sumatra (Sumsel). The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Pagaralam City ensured that the crack in the land was harmless.
"Meanwhile, the rift is not potentially dangerous because it is not the impact of an earthquake or serious earth shift, as information circulating in the public," said Head of BPBD Pagaralam Jon Hasman in Pagaralam, South Sumatra, Tuesday, June 27, as reported by Antara.
According to him, the cracked ground incident occurred after heavy rains flushed the area on Saturday, June 24 at 16.00 WIB.
Based on reports from BPBD personnel from Pagaralam City, the crack was 5-10 centimeters in diameter. As a result of this condition, minor damage occurred on the asphalt surface of the village main road, and five units of residents' houses.
