43 Thousand Passengers From Various Regions Have Arrived, Jakarta Will Return To Congested
A total of 43,700 long-distance train users (KAJJ) arrived at a number of train stations in the Daop 1 Jakarta area on Wednesday, April 26. They got off at different stations.
Of these, 16,400 passengers disembarked at Pasar Senen Station. There were 16,200 passengers who disembarked at Gambir Station, 4,200 passengers at Bekasi Station, 4,500 passengers at Jatinegara Station and the rest fell at Jakarta Kota, Cikarang, Karawang and Cikampek Stations.
Based on the data received, there is a 2-fold increase in the number of passengers from normal times.
KAI Daop 1 Jakarta also adds to the availability of seats in the waiting area for passengers so that it is hoped that passengers who have just arrived and waiting for the pick-up will not stand.
The majority of passengers arriving in the Daop 1 area of Jakarta came from the areas of Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, Solo, Purwokerto, Kutoarjo and Malang.
During the Eid 2023 transportation period from April 12 (H-10) to May 3 (D+10) in total, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta prepared up to 1 million long-distance train tickets (KAJJ) with 1,513 train trips for departure from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen.

Of these, 303 additional train trips have been included. Additional trains are available for a number of favorite connection trips such as the destinations of Yogyakarta, Semarang, Solo, Blitar, Surabaya and Malang.
Meanwhile, facing the backflow of the Lebaran Polres Metro Central Jakarta carried out homecoming security up to D+7 Lebaran at Pasar Senen Station and Gambir Station.
"Security is planned to reach D+7. But we certainly see the volume of backflow which will return later, if indeed in D+7 it has been said to be normal, of course, we will normalize security again," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin when confirmed, Tuesday, April 25.
