Ex-Director Of Transjakarta Kuncoro Wibowo Arrested By KPK In Corruption Case Of Social Assistance At Ministry Of Social Affairs
JAKARTA - The former Managing Director of Transjakarta M. Kuncoro Wibowo has become a suspect in the corruption case of rice social assistance (bansos) for the Family Hope Program (PKH) at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). The former Main Director of PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (BGR) was arrested along with five other people.
"Yes, there are also other parties," said Head of KPK Reporting Section Ali Fikri when confirmed by reporters, Wednesday, March 15.
It was not specified who the other party Ali was referring to. The KPK will only announce the suspects and their actions when efforts to detain them are carried out after sufficient evidence is deemed sufficient.
"When we consider this investigation to have been sufficient for the collection of evidence, then the identities of the parties named as suspects, the chronology of alleged criminal acts as well as the articles suspected will be conveyed to the public," he said.
For information, Kuncoro, who resigned from the position of Managing Director of Transjakarta as of Monday, March 13, has been prevented from going abroad for six months starting in February and ending in August.

Meanwhile, PT BGR is one of the distributors of the Ministry of Social Affairs' program of rice social assistance. The state-owned company was tasked with distributing 222,070,230 kilograms of social assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs to 4,934,894 beneficiary families of the PKH program in the country.
