Bajaj Bajuri Casts Come To Visit Nani Wijaya At Hospital

JAKARTA - Several cast members of the Bajaj Bajuri sitcom visited Fatmawati Hospital to visit Nani Wijaya. The actors and actresses who attended included Saleh Ali (Said), Leslie Sulistiowati (Mpok Minah), and Sinta Dewi (Nurmala).

Sinta Dewi admitted that she received news that the senior actress was rushed to the hospital from Nina, the daughter of Nani Wijaya. "I was told by Ms. Nina, it was Wednesday morning, at 2.50, close to dawn. Ms. Nina sent me WhatsApp," said Sinta Dewi to the media crew at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

However, the three Bajaj Bajuri actors have not been allowed to meet Nani Wijaya in person. The reason is, her condition is still unstable and is under intensive monitoring by a team of doctors from the hospital.

"We, the Bajaj Bajuri family, came to the hospital with the intention of visiting Mrs. Nani. But what can I say, we can't enter except for the family. So we got the data from the family, and just now other friends also heard about it," said Saleh Ali.

The actor who is better known by his character name, Said, also asked for prayer support from the wider community. "Let's just pray, hopefully, we will get the best. God willing, the Bajaj Bajuri family also pray for the best, and we will return the rest to Allah," he continued.

Regarding the figure of Nani Wijaya in the eyes of the Bajaj Bajuri cast, Leslie Sulistiowati and Sinta Dewi agree that the 78-year-old actress is a modest figure and has become a mother for the other cast members.

"Mrs. Nani is really kind to me. I can't say anything because she was really close to me at the shooting location," said Sinta Dewi while shedding tears.

“(Mrs. Nani Wijaya) is like our own mother. When I first heard that she was sick, I immediately came that time. When we heard that she was sick, we as Bajaj Bajuri are caring," concluded Leslie Sulistiowati, who is better known as Mpok Minah.
