Disney Reveals the Continuation Production Of Frozen 3 And Toy Story 5
JAKARTA - Disney revealed their two most popular franchises in the production process. Frozen, Toy Story, and Zootopia are in production with the animation studio, Disney CEO Bob Iger has revealed.
“Today I am proud to announce we are working on sequels to our most popular franchises: Toy Story, Frozen and Zootopia,” Bob Iger said, quoted by Deadline today, Thursday, February 9.
"We will be sharing production details but this is an example of how we lean into our brand and franchise," he continued.
Toy Story 5 will come after four films starring Tom Hanks and Tim Allen. Toy Story's story also continues a year after the spin-off film Lightyear starring Chris Evans.
Frozen 3 is confirmed to continue the sequel released in 2019, while the Zootopia sequel follows the first film in 2016. Disney+ also presented a short film called Zootopia+ last year.

Previously, Frozen casts expressed their desire to continue the story. Kristen Bell even mentions Frozen 3.
“I want to announce without guarantee - Frozen 3. Please remember I can't announce it because I'm not the one doing it. They could be working on it,” said Kristen Bell.
“I try to save it. I know Idina Menzel wants to too so what are you waiting for?” he said.
This announcement was shared simultaneously with Disney announcing the lay off of 7.000 employees as well as a reduction in the number of Disney+ subscribers reaching 2.4 million.
Toy Story is a franchise that tells the story of Andy and Woody's journey and Andy's toy collection. Frozen is a story that takes Elsa and Anna's relationship from Arandelle while Zootopia tells the adventures of a number of animals who work as authorities.
